The Tennessee Department of Transportation is conducting utility work on Sparta Highway/State Route 1 in Pleasant Hill in both directions from East Main to Arthur Seagraves Road. Work will continue through June 15, 2024 with intermittent stoppages as well as shoulder and lane closures.
There will also be intermittent stoppages as well as shoulder and lane closures on Sparta Highway between Old Hwy 70 and Holiday Road through June 15.
Motorists should reduce speed and be prepared to stop. Trucks, signage, and barrels/cones will be present from 8 am to 3 pm.
