Interdenominational Prayer Service

The Fairfield Glade Council of Churches invites the public to join them for an interdenominational prayer service on Thursday, May 2nd at the Robin Hood Park pavilion.  The national theme for this year is “lift up the Word, Light up the World.”  Prayers will be offered up by the pastors of Westminster Presbyterian Church, St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Fairfield Glad United Methodist Church, Fairfield Glad Community Church and Christ Lutheran Church as well as the chaplains from the fire department, the police department and the Veteran’s association.  Prayers will be made for the government, media/arts/entertainment, business, education, family, churches, our police, our firefighters, our first responders, our military personnel and the world and all humanity.  The Honor Guard from the Vietnam Veterans Association will present the colors.  Music will be provided by Angela Anderson (choir director) and John Turner (keyboardist) of Fairfield Glade Community Church.  All are encouraged to join in this opportunity to unite in prayer for our nation and our world.
