Two tornadoes touched down in Middle Tennessee Monday afternoon. At 2:55pm what is being described as a weak tornado briefly touched down in Wilson County. At 4:24 pm a confirmed tornado touched down in Smithville in DeKalb County which also prompted a tornado warning in White County. A section of State Route 83 in DeKalb was shut down due to debris on the roadway with reports of downed trees and structure damage.
